College of Arts and Physical Education
Dept. of Sport Science
We focus on cultivating professionals in three areas: clinical exercise (athletic testing and exercise program planning), health and fitness (maximizing performance for systematic health management), and sports management (human resources, marketing, finance, and customer care) who can play a crucial role in the entire sports industry, including the sports science area.
We operate 3 major career roadmaps: 'Sports Educator', 'Sports Field Leader', and 'Sports Administration Manager'.
According to an analysis of the career paths of the latest alumni, they work as physical education teachers, researchers, trainers, early childhood and elderly physical education instructors, professional sports team secretariat staff, and sports equipment businesses.
We have revised the specialization-based curriculum through the specialization project to train students to become sports professionals. We will further develop by fostering sports professionals who can develop and implement health and performance-enhancing physical activity programs through establishing smart classrooms, running extracurricular programs, and hosting and operating sports club competitions.
