At 10 a.m. on the 21st, Incheon National University invited more than 250 multicultural families from Incheon to hold the "2024 Global Hope Completion Project" event with Incheon National University and multicultural families.

In a welcoming speech, Kim Dong-won, External Cooperation Provost at Incheon National University, encouraged, "We sincerely welcome multicultural families who attended today, and I hope that this event will be reborn as an event where multicultural families, communities and base universities share their visions and hopes.“
The event was organized with the aim of inviting multicultural families in Incheon to share their visions and hopes with each other to build a global image and realize the value of sharing with local communities with Incheon National University, which aims to become the world's top 100 universities.
Incheon National University prepared the programs needed by multicultural families through close consultation with 10 support centers for multicultural families in Incheon. In particular, through cooperation with Incheon National University's strong point, the Incheon Science Elite Program, it conducted an aptitude test to help middle and high school students choose jobs and jobs in the future by identifying experimental-oriented education such as coding, robots, and drone experiences.
Meanwhile, Incheon National University invited 180 multicultural families in Ganghwa-gun in 2014 to begin full-fledged exchanges with multicultural families and continued to hold events, inviting 450 people every year. During the COVID-19 pandemic, events have been held, such as delivering daily necessities to more than 500 families from 2020 to 2023, and this year, face-to-face on-site events have been held again to steadily promote the value of sharing to the local community.
"We are positioning ourselves to become the Incheon National University with the local community by promoting various exchange programs and experience programs so that multicultural families in Incheon can grow into healthy global citizens," said Incheon National University's director of Division of External Cooperation, who prepared this program.
